The SEO Sauna Event location might vary from year to year. It can be in the forrest at a summer cottage with real finnish mosquitos that are super annoying, or at a secret location at the capital of Finland. The most important thing is there is a great Sauna and good food.
It is very important to stay hydrated in the sauna, because it is so hot. Therefore it is very important to grab a drink when you go to the sauna. Good drinks are beer, cider or coca cola. Specially good ones are a Kyrö drink.
Bating clothes, slippers, towels. You will need a “saunavihta”, and there is no english name for it. But “saunavihta” is a bundle of birch branches traditionally used in the Finnish sauna for gently whipping the body to improve circulation and enhance the sauna experience. If you get too hot in the sauna, use this one even more!!
